• Rev Les Isaac OBE

    PATRON

Authentic Centre Coventry is proud to have Rev. Les Isaac OBE as a Patron. A respected community leader and social innovator, Rev. Isaac is best known for founding the Street Pastors initiative—a nationwide network of trained volunteers who support vulnerable individuals on the streets at night. Launched in 2003, this initiative has grown to over 270 towns and cities across the UK and internationally, becoming a model of effective, grassroots community engagement.

Originally from Antigua and raised in London, Rev. Isaac has spent decades working to reduce crime, build trust, and strengthen communities. In 1993, he established the Ascension Trust, which has supported a range of community safety and wellbeing projects, including school mentoring, youth engagement, and mental health support.

His contributions to society were recognised with an OBE in 2012 for services to the community. In 2022, his keynote address at the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast highlighted the importance of integrity and service in public life, resonating far beyond faith communities.

Rev. Isaac brings to Authentic Centre Coventry a wealth of experience in community transformation, public engagement, and social leadership—values that underpin our work with young people and families across the city.
